Sdkfz 250/9 Neue

This model is of the Sdkfz 250/9 Neue. This is a variant of the Sdkfz 250 half track widely used by the German Army, particularly on the Eastern Front. The conditions of the roads in Russia meant that wheeled recconaissance vehicles were at a great disadvantage. The use of the later model 20mm turret from the large 8 wheeled Armoured Car on the Sdkfz 250 chassis made for a recce vehicle with greater mobility.
